Industry Veteran to Drive Worldwide Marketing Strategy for Cloud Security Solutions
REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., Jun 03, 2014 (BUSINESS WIRE) — Skyfence Networks, the company that automates visibility and control over cloud apps, today announced the appointment of Frank Cabri as vice president of marketing. Mr. Cabri brings 20 years of marketing and management experience in enterprise security, cloud and datacenter technologies to Skyfence. He joined Skyfence from Centrify Corporation, a leading provider of unified identity services across data center, cloud and mobile.
“We are extremely pleased to welcome a proven security veteran like Frank to the Skyfence management team,” said Ofer Hendler, CEO of Skyfence. “Frank has the domain knowledge, skill set and deep experience in security and SaaS technologies required to help establish Skyfence in the emerging cloud application security market.”
The “bring-your-own” cloud app trend has created a visibility and control blind spot for IT that cannot be addressed by traditional perimeter and endpoint controls. As the first marketing executive at the company, Mr. Cabri assumes responsibility for leading the go-to-market strategy for Skyfence’s Cloud Gateway offerings, which integrate application visibility, risk analytics and cloud threat prevention, to enable safe and productive use of cloud apps.
