SecureSphere Provides Application Data Protection and Regulatory Compliance Support while Exceeding Throughput Requirements for Largest Data Centers
Foster City, CA, Feb 26, 2008 –Imperva®, the leader in application data security and compliance, today announced that its SecureSphere Database Security Gateways have received The Tolly Group’s “Up to Spec” certification, the firm’s top rating for performance and throughput in high traffic/high transaction data center environments.
In December 2007, The Tolly Group tested Imperva SecureSphere G4 and G8 appliances deployed to monitor activity and to protect Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle database servers in emulated enterprise database environments. SecureSphere delivered the following performance results in the tests:
- Up to 1,100 Mbps of throughput
- Less than one millisecond of latency when deployed inline for database monitoring and protection
- Support for up to 70,000 MS-SQL queries per second and 110,000 Oracle queries per second
- No significant performance degradation when auditing all SQL queries
