Leading Provider of Data Security Appliances Adds Security Industry Stalwart to Round Out Management Team
FOSTER CITY, Calif., Dec. 20, 2006 – Imperva®, the global leader in data security and compliance solutions for the data center, today announced the appointment of Robin Matlock as Executive Vice President and General Manager. Matlock brings to Imperva more than 18 years of executive management experience in marketing, sales, business development, and operations. She has been a key executive for leading information security vendors McAfee and Symantec, and successful start-ups including Entercept Security Technologies. Matlock assumes responsibility for marketing, business development, services, and general management of Imperva’s US Headquarters.

Robin Matlock joins Imperva from McAfee, the largest dedicated security company in the world. As Senior Vice President, Global Field Marketing, Matlock was responsible for field and channel marketing worldwide. Prior to McAfee, Matlock was Senior Vice President of Marketing and Services for Entercept Security Technologies, an early developer of host intrusion prevention products which was acquired by Network Associates (now McAfee) in 2003. In three years, she helped grow company revenues from $0 to $10M. She has also held executive level product management and business development positions with Symantec. Matlock holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Music from Rice University.
