Head of ADC Research Group Amichai Shulman Available to Discuss Impact of Update to Requirement 6.6 as June 30 Deadline Looms

Mr. Shulman is also head of the Imperva Application Defense Center (ADC), the company’s application data security and compliance research organization. He is an expert on vulnerability scanning, code reviews, and application firewalls, as well as the leading regulatory compliance standards including PCI DSS, SOX, HIPAA, Basel II, and others.

WHAT:

On April 22, the PCI (Payment Card Industry) Security Standards Council published an update to the PCI DSS (Data Security Standard) titled, Information Supplement: Requirement 6.6 Code Reviews and Application Firewalls Clarified. Requirement 6.6 goes into effect on June 30, 2008. The supplement, although intended to clarify and provide additional guidance for complying with PCI DSS, impacts how organizations need to prepare for the June 30 deadline. Mr. Shulman is available to clarify and answer questions on the impact requirement 6.6 will have on the industry.  Specifically, he can discuss the changes made to requirement 6.6, explain what impact they have for organizations that need to comply with 6.6, and provide recommendations on the most efficient means to achieve compliance. The Imperva ADC Research organization has prepared a technical briefing paper on meeting PCI DSS requirement 6.6.
