FOSTER CITY, Calif., Feb. 21, 2006 – Imperva™, the leader in data security for the data center, today announced that it was named the Most Innovative Company at the invitation-only RSA® Conference 2006 Innovation Station Showdown. Imperva competed against more than 40 security vendors who submitted nominations for this prestigious title. The finalist showdown event was held on Feb. 15 at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, Calif.

Imperva was invited to participate and vie for the title of “Most Innovative Emerging Company” following a thorough pre-show evaluation and screening process. During the event, Imperva presented its business plan to a panel of industry experts. The judges included Asheem Chandna of Greylock Partners, Jim Goetz of Sequoia Capital, Patrick Heim of McKesson Corporation and Robin Vasan of Mayfield.

“The purpose of the Innovation Station program is to recognize the emerging companies which, based on their technology, vision and market impact, are poised to make a mark in the information security industry,” said Sandra Toms LaPedis, general manager and area vice president of RSA Conference. “We evaluated many very innovative companies and technologies, and congratulate Imperva on its win at this year’s showdown.”

“We competed against a field of very strong contenders and in front of the entire industry for this award,” said Shlomo Kramer, founder and CEO of Imperva. “This is an important achievement for us and provides further evidence that we have developed the most innovative approach to the data security available today.”
