Meritech Capital Partners Leads Late Stage Investment in Application Data Security Leader
Foster City, CA, Apr 7, 2008 –Imperva®, the leader in application data security, today announced that it has raised $20 million in a Series D round of venture capital financing. The funds will be used as expansion stage capital to take advantage of rapid growth in demand for application data security products in both domestic and international markets.
The round was led by late stage venture capital firm Meritech Capital Partners, and supported by previous investors Accel Partners, Greylock Partners, US Venture Partners, and Venrock Associates. The company has raised a total of $54 million in four rounds of financing.

This has fueled demand for our application data security products around the world,” said Shlomo Kramer, president and CEO of Imperva. “This late round of funding provides us with the capital to grow our domestic and international operations in order to extend our market share leadership and support our rapidly expanding customer base.”
