Merav Davidson to Manage Business Operations; Gary Staley to Head Worldwide Sales

Redwood Shores, Calif., April 8, 2009 – Imperva®, the data security leader, today announced the appointment of two seasoned industry executives to its management team. Merav Davidson joins the company as senior vice president of business operations, and Gary Staley as senior vice president of worldwide sales. Davidson and Staley will play pivotal roles in helping Imperva extend its global leadership position in the data security market.

Merav Davidson brings over 17 years of operational and management experience to Imperva. She joins Imperva from her consulting practice where she provided marketing, operations and SaaS team leadership to a portfolio of clients. She previously held executive leadership positions at Mercury Interactive, including serving as General Manager of Mercury’s rapidly growing SaaS business, and vice president of business operations. In this role, Davidson led the successful integration of Mercury Interactive ($1B) into HP Software ($1.5B). Her team managed all aspects of the global integration: human resources, finance, products, and go to market programs. Davidson holds a BSC in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.

Gary Staley has more than 20 years of sales and sales management experience in the technology sector. Prior to joining Imperva, he was vice president, worldwide sales for the Resource Management Software Group (RMSG) at EMC Corp. Staley managed direct sales, sales operations, pre-sales engineering, and channel sales for EMC’s software management solutions accounting for several hundred million dollars in annual revenue. Prior to EMC, he was regional vice president at AboveNet, a next-generation provider of advanced optical and IP network services. As area vice president in the Global Service Provider division of Alcatel-Lucent, Staley’s team generated $200M+ in annual revenue. He began his career at Verizon Business where he held positions in sales and sales management in the National Account Program. Staley holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Ohio University.
