Business Security Platform Meets Requirements of Common Criteria Evaluation and Validation Scheme
Redwood Shores, Calif., January 31, 2013 – Imperva, Inc. (NYSE: IMPV), a pioneer and leader of a new category of business security solutions for critical applications and high-value data in the data center, today announced SecureSphere 9.0 has met the requirements of the Common Criteria Evaluation and Validation Scheme (CCEVS) set forth by the National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP).
“With information security threats, organizations are tasked with implementing technology with numerous options to consider,” said Bill Aubin, Imperva’s Area Vice President, Federal. “We are proud to have received the NIAP CCEVS.”
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the National Security Agency (NSA) created the National Information Assurance Partnership to evaluate information technology product conformance to international standards. The Common Criteria Evaluation and Validation Scheme helps organizations select commercial, off-the-shelf information technology products that meet their security requirements.
Imperva provides a comprehensive business security suite designed to secure business data and application systems in the data center, from storage in a database or on a file server to consumption through applications, by monitoring and controlling data usage and business transactions across these systems.
